Now for Xiaomi India is one of the most crucial markets, after China since its sales have been setting new records. Xiaomi launched its new and low budget 4G enabled smartphone in India, titled as Xiaomi Redmi 4A. Xiaomi Redmi 4A will be available online through Amazon and from 23rd March 2017. It will be available in an open sale without any registrations. Clearly, Xiaomi Redmi 4A has a very limited but a potential target among Indian users. Now let’s have an insight about this device.

Built and Design

Xiaomi Redmi 4A features a 5.0-inch  IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with a screen resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. It supports dual sim and measures 139.5 x 70.4 x 8.5 mm dimensionally and weighs around 130 g. It has a clean and sharp design, rounded around the corners and has an excellent build.

Xiaomi Redmi 4A sports a Qualcomm MSM8917 Snapdragon 425 quad-core processor with a clock speed of 1.4 GHz. It has a 2GB RAM and 16 GB internal memory. The memory can be expanded up to 128 GB. Performance wise Xiaomi Redmi 4A is very affordable with a decent chipset.




Xiomi Redmi 4A has a 13MP rear camera, and that’s a great thing. No phone at this price tag offers you a better deal. It has features like Geo-tagging, touch focus, face/smile detection, HDR, panorama, and autofocus. Alos it supports 1080p video recording at 30fps. It has a 5 MP front camera.

Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, 3G and 4G(LTE).

Xiaomi is eventually launching and planning smartphone in all categories. It is targeting all smartphone user groups be it low budget or prime budget category. Xiaomi Redmi 4A may show results up to the expectations as there has been a significant increase in 4G smartphone users.
