Xiaomi is presently a big gun in the smartphone market, be it in India or China. Xiaomi made the tremendous profit with the grand success of budget phones like Mi 4, Mi 4A, and premium budget phones like Note 4 and now it’s time for Xiaomi to play big. There are already rumors about the launch of Mi 6 in India on July 23. Recently, the rumored Xiaomi Jason was spotted on GFXBench benchmark. It will be a variant of the flagship Xiaomi Mi 6, called the Xiaomi Mi 6c.
According to GFXBench, the Xiaomi Mi 6C will come with codename – Janson. Also, according to some reports, Mi 6C will be pretty much similar to Mi 6, be it in terms of the display, RAM or storage. The main highlight of the phone will be the all new Snapdragon 660 processor. This also confirms that the phone will be one of the first few devices with this chipset.
Xiaomi Mi 6C ‘Jason’ Specifications
Like Mi 6, Mi 6C will also feature a 5.15-inch screen with a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Spectators are already thrilled at the rumors of an octa-core Snapdragon 660 chipset with a super clock speed of 2.2GHz. Mi 6 is powered by a 2.45GHz octa-core Snapdragon 835 processor and is one of the primary difference between the two smartphones. Xiamoi Mi 6c will have 6GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage.
Talking about the software, Mi 6c will run on Android 7.1.1. It will also have MIUI 8 as in Mi 6. Mi 6c will have a 12 MP rear camera and a 4 MP front camera. Mi 6 features a 12 MP rear camera and a 8 MP front-facing camera. No other specification related to battery and other features were discovered on GFXBench.
No release date was mentioned as this is the very first unofficial impression of the smartphone. Also, there is no doubt that Xiamoi Mi 6c will be priced in the mid-range category. Mi 6c may also prove to be an upcoming rival for many premium budget phones. Mi 6 is seen as an alternative for One Plus 5.
