With Usain Bolt endorsing, this model which HTC claims to be World’s Fastest Smartphone, HTC BOLT is available for sale in the US on Friday. HTC has teamed up with Sprint to bring out a product which is the end result of innovation and top-notch technique. HTC Bolt is priced at $600 and is only released in the US market with no news of its release in India.
HTC this time ditches the headphone jack, replacing it by a C-type USB headphone. Further, to enhance the sound quality, it comes with HTC Boom Sound adaptive audio. Talking about the general specification, the phone has a 5.5 inches QHD (1440×2560 pixels) display. The fingerprint sensor is also impressive with an unlock time of 0.2 seconds and is powered with 3GB RAM and 32 GB Memory. Also, it’s a full body aluminum, water resistant phone.
The design is also inspired by HTC’s previous model of HTC 10 and comes with the same finish of Glacial Silver and Gunmetal. It comes with Android 7.0 and HTC Bolt is “Bolted” by Snapdragon 810 – octa-core CPU which enables performance up to 2Ghz but this may be marked as a controversial move as in past it was the reason behind the unusual heating.
The rear camera is as expected 16Mp, and maybe it clicks as good as HTC 10 and also includes a front camera of 8 Mp. The rear camera allows the user to have 4k recording while the front camera offers a full 1080p recording as well. The phone’s battery may be an issue for some as it comes with a 3200mAh battery which may be a deciding factor but talking about the performance, there is no doubt why Usain Bolt and HTC Bolt goes hand in hand. Overall, the design and build quality is impressive because of the full aluminum body and a thickness of 8.09 mm is also quite decent.
Overall, the phone may be a fantastic pick but comes up with lots of pre-loaded apps, which may deteriorate its performance and may be it’s not really the Bolt of smartphones as claimed by many. HTC Bolt may also compete closely with its rivals including i-Phone and One Plus 3.
Now summing this up, I want to conclude by saying that HTC Bolt always stands a class apart and this phone may be a good choice but let’s just hope that this Taiwanese smartphone giant also plans to release this model in India as well.
