The market is full of both bizarre and surprising products. Smartron India launched this smartphone in collaboration with “The God Of Cricket”. Smartron India is an Indian startup in smartphones and Internet Of Things (IOT). The smartphone is named SRT.Phone as the initials are taken from Sachin’s name(Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar). Smartron srt.phone will be available on Flipkart for sale and is priced at Rs. 12,999 for 32 GB variant and Rs. 13,999 for 64 GB variant.Though this is not a great name in the industry, yet it seems like Smartron is ready to blast in the market like master-blaster way.

Smartron srt.phone sports a 5.5-inch screen with screen resolution of 1080×1920 pixels. Dimensionally, it measures 153x77x8.9mm. It is boosted by an octa-core Snapdragon 652 SoC (four Cortex-A72 cores with a clock speed of 1.8GHz, and four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.44GHz). Along with 4 GB RAM, Smartron srt.phone has 32 GB storage and 64 GB storage with a price tag of Rs. 12,999 and Rs. 13,999 respectively. There’s no microSD slot provided, though Smartron says that one will get unlimited storage in the ‘tron Cloud’ as part of the phone.

This Smartron device features a 13 MP rear camera with a dual-LED flash, and a f/2.0 aperture. It has a 5 MP front facing camera. There is a fingerprint sensor present at the rear side of the phone. Other sensors include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, magnetometer, and proximity sensor. Smartron srt.phone has a battery capacity of 3000mAh and support Quick Charge 2.0. Smartron also claims that the device won’t heat up under usual conditions.

Smartron srt.phone runs on Android 7.0 and has Gorilla glass 3. It will be available in Titanium Grey variant. Smartron also promises to have regular updates and this Indian brand has to struggle a lot to convince the customers. Smartron as of now is totally dependent on Sachin Tendulkar. Now let’s just wait for the first look of this phone and hope that another Indian brand will emerge in the market.
