Oppo is targeting an aggressive expansion, and as a reason is launching phones at a very frequent rate. Oppo recently launched Oppo  A77  in Taiwan and the phone was yet again launched with the tagline of Selfie Expert. Oppo and Vivo are the product of same parent company and is constantly doing innovation in camera, especially for a better selfie. Oppo A77 was already available for preorder from 19th May and costs approximately Rs. 23,400. Oppo has not yet announced the arrival of Oppo A77 in India and it may take a couple of months to arrive in India. Now let us look at the in-depth specifications of Oppo A77.

Oppo A77 : Built and Design

Just like its previous designs, there has been no great improvement. Oppo A77 sports a 5.5-inch display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. The phone has a slim and curvy design with 7.3mm thickness. It has a hybrid dual sim support, which means that either you can use two sim cards or a sim card and an external SD card at a time.

Processor and Memory

Oppo A77 has an Octa-Core MediaTek MT6750T processor with a clock speed of 1.5 GHz. One of the most important features of Oppo A77 is its 4GB RAM. It has an internal memory of 64 GB, that is expandable up to 256 GB, via external micro SD card. Well, Oppo bundles up decent specifications at a slightly overpriced tag.

 

Camera

Well, one thing that will never be disappointing from Oppo and Vivo is its superb camera. Oppo truly deserves the tag of Selfie Expert as it sports a 13 MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, phase detection autofocus and, LEDflash. Other features include Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, HDR, panorama. It also supports 1080p video recording at 30 Frames per second. Oppo A77 has an excellent 16 MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture.No doubt, again, this will attract selfie lovers.

Other Features

Oppo A77 runs on Android 6.0. There is a front mounted fingerprint sensor and other sensors include an accelerometer, proximity sensor and, compass. It has a non-removable Li-Ion battery of 3200 mAh. The phone will be available in Gold, and Rose Gold variant.

Well, Oppo and Vivo has shown a terrific increase in sales in India and this achievement is all due to its superb camera. Apart from the excellent camera, Oppo and Vivo must also focus on other aspects as well to achieve another milestone.
