Lenovo, after successfully launching K8 Note and K8 Plus, has now arrived with the third K8-series smartphone, the Lenovo K8. This time Lenovo has used social-networking service Twitter to announce its Flagship Phone K8 in India on Tuesday. The smartphone will be an offline-exclusive and will be frequently available at all retail stores. Lenovo priced K8 at just Rs. 10,499 and is the lowest specced smartphone in the series as expected.

Lenovo K8: Features and Specifications, all you need to know :

Unlike other smartphones in K-series, Lenovo K8 doesn’t support a dual camera setup. Instead, there’s a 13-megapixel single sensor camera with PDAF and LED flash. And at the front, K8 comes with an 8-megapixel front camera with front flash.

 

 

Similar to the Lenovo K8 Note and Note plus smartphones, the new K8 also runs on stock Android 7.1.1 Nougat which delivers a smooth and responsive experience. It is packed with 4000mAh non-removable battery. The company claims to deliver up to 1.5 days of usage. It measures 147.9×73.7×8.5mm and weighs 165 grams.  The Lenovo K8 also comes with a dedicated Music Key located on the left panel. The dual-SIM smartphone supports both Nano-SIMs and comes with 4G with VoLTE support. Lenovo introduced new color range for the K8 smartphones: Venom Black and Fine Gold colors.

The Lenovo K8 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P20 processor clocked at 2.3GHz coupled with 3GB of RAM. The phone has a 32GB inbuilt storage on board which can be further expanded. It features a 5.2-inch IPS HD display with 2.5D glass and resolution of 720×1280 pixels. It has a fingerprint sensor at the back panel. On the connectivity front, the Lenovo K8 is supported by 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, GPS, dual-SIM, WiFi and micro USB port. This Lenovo device comes with DOLBY ATMOS sound but misses out on Theater Max present on other two models. It comes with some amazing sensors: Gravity, Proximity, Light, E-compass and Gyro sensors.

Like the Lenovo K8 Plus, the K8 has a 2.5D curved glass on top, but still, the company hasn’t confirmed if K8 will come with the same Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
