It’s impressive and rather leaves a long lasting image on the budget smartphone users. Lenovo toppled the smartphone market and it’s sale boosted after the launch of K3 Note. The phone was not easily available for buyers and would vanish within few seconds even after weeks of its release. Though it’s still ranked as one of the Best Budget Smartphone and Lenovo is all set with the release of Lenovo K6 Power. It was already launched in China in September 2016 and now Flipkart is all buckled up for its sale and Lenovo K6 Power is priced at 9,999. Here is the detailed phone specification along with the review:
Built and Design
Lenovo K6 Power flaunts a curvy design, nothing too sharp and has a metal back with a matte-grey finish. The fingerprint sensor is placed at the backside and power and volume buttons are capacitive, lacking backlit feature and this may be a deciding factor for users. The phone weighs around 145 g and measures 141.9 x 70.3 x 9.3 mm (5.59 x 2.77 x 0.37 in) in dimension. Lenovo K6 Power is available in Silver, Gold and Dark Grey color.
Display and Sound
Lenovo K6 Power sports a 5-inch display with Full HD IPS LCD screen. The display enables a good image quality with 1080 x 1920 pixels (~441 PPI pixel density) resolution. Multitouch is supported up to 5 fingers. Lenovo K6 Power comes with stereo speakers and 3.5 mm Audio jack. Further, to enhance the sound quality, it has Dolby Atmos as Lenovo features Dolby in almost all its smartphone.
Lenovo K6 Power has a 13 MP rear camera with phase detection autofocus and LED flash. It also supports Full HD video recording. The best thing about the camera is it’s super lightning speed which rarely misses a shot! Other impressive features such as Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, HDR, and panorama are also present. The front camera is of 8 MP and is fairly decent at this price tag.
Lenovo K6 Power has a decent and an above average performance and lags behind the performance of Redmi Note 3 but has other great features such as quick fingerprint detection and almost no heating issue. It has a Qualcomm MSM8937 Snapdragon 430 chipset that is enhanced by Octa-core 1.4 GHz Cortex-A53 processor. It has 3 GB RAM and internal storage capacity of 32 GB.
Lenovo K6 Power has an excellent battery life as it comes with a non-removable Li-Po 4000 mAh battery. It supports a standby time of around 650 hours and Talktime of around 50 hours for 2G and 30 hours on 3G. Sensors such as Fingerprint (rear-mounted), accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass are present to have a smooth and unique experience. It is supported by Android 6.0.
Overall Lenovo K6 Power is a good phone which is fairly priced and Lenovo removed the previous glitch such as heating and camera problems with the launch of this flagship. If you are planning to buy this then at least wait for a week or more as Xiaomi is soon planning to reveal it’s next flagship of Redmi and it’s probably Xiaomi Redmi Note 4.
