The new additions come packed with skylake processor– the much talked about 6th generation Intel and some other amazing additions. Launching three new models with 12.5 inch, 13.3 inch, and 14 inch displays, it is the 13.3-inch model that really stands out.

The new Dell Latitude 13 7000 Series is a compact notebook that weighs around 2.5 pounds, is less than 0.6 inches thick, and offers up to 10 hours of battery life . It features Dell’s Inifinity Edge display with super-thin bezels, as seen in the Dell XPS 13 line of laptops from 2015.
The notebook is available with a carbon fiber or CNC machine aluminum case, and up to 512GB of solid state storage. A backlit keyboard, Thunderbolt 3 (USB Type-C) connectivity and security features like wireless Smart Card reader, fingerprint scanner and encryption software makes it a great buy. Thunderbolt™ 3 multi-use port allows you to charge your laptop, connect to multiple devices and enjoy data transfers up to 40Gbps, 8 times that of a USB 3.0.
The only down side we could make out, was that the new Latitude 13 7000 Series is probably the least powerful laptop in the new 7000 Series. Being available with up to an Intel Core M7 Skylake processor, while other members of the series can support up to a Core i7 Skylake chip.
Dell Latitude 12 7000 Series

Dell Latitude 14 7000 Series
The Latitude 14 7000 is available with 1920 x 1080 pixel , 1366 x 768 pixel, or 1600 x 900 pixel non-touch displays, or a touchscreen display of 2560 x 1440 pixels. The 14 inch notebook, measures 13.2″ x 9.1″ x 0.8″ and weighs about 3.3 pounds. It has a higher screen to body ratio as compared to the 12-inch variant. The 12- and 14-inch 7000 Series Latitude models are somewhat similar in all other aspects except the detachability.
Another notable feature in this ultra-useful series is the Optional 3×3 wireless connectivity, which delivers up to 1.3Gbps transfer speeds. That’s 30% faster than traditional 2×2 Wifi.
No matter which one you buy, these new additions definitely look sleek, stylish and simple. They are ultra portable, fast enough for a speedy workflow and all in all, perfect choice in the business class of laptops. Do they beat the XPS series? I would say no. But the lower price could be something that seals the deal for you.
